Acklins Island is in the southern Bahamas, about a one-hour plane flight from Nassau. With a population of around 400 people, it is one of the most undeveloped, remote and beautiful islands in the Caribbean. There are many miles of unpressured flats and creeks on the bight (inside) of the island, where you will find bonefish and barracuda, often in knee to ankle-deep water. And on the Atlantic side, there are beautiful beaches and protected coves, where you’ll find good fishing for bones, barracuda, jacks and other reef fish.
Trip packages include 7 nights lodging (double occupancy in a private room), 5 days of guided fishing, all meals, taxes, transfers and non-alcoholic drinks. A vehicle will be available on your DIY angling day. Single anglers are welcome and will be paired-up with other singles when possible.
