I am the father of three great kids who have accompanied me on fishing adventures for more than twenty years. Therefore, one of my specialties is planning family trips that can include as much (or as little) fishing as you want. One of the best things about Maine is the diversity of recreational opportunities that it offers. You can sleep in a lighthouse, go whitewater rafting, visit an amusement park, see a moose, hike a mile-high mountain or watch a professional baseball game. All of these family activities can be combined with fishing.
So think about your next vacation and decide if you want some fishing incorporated into it. Then contact me and I will help put together a trip that you will enjoy.
Maine is a very diverse place, so please give me an idea of the region of the state you want to visit (Western Mountains, South Coast, North Woods, Down East, etc.) and the types of non-fishing activities that your family enjoys (lake swimming, ocean sailing, hiking, etc.). If you are not familiar with Maine and can not provide this information, I can make some suggestions for you. Please be sure to let me know if there are any ‘must do’ items to be included in your vacation itinerary (see a moose, go white water rafting, do an island clambake, etc.).
My standard fee for helping to plan your trip is $200, and can increase in proportion to the amount of time that I spend. Budget-minded families really like this service because you can get a full week’s worth of Maine vacation/fishing ideas for far less than the cost of one guided trip.
